Tommy Earl Bristow, age 70, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at his residence.

Tommy was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on June 26, 1947, a son of the late Daisy (Wilcox) and Walter Ross Bristow.

Tommy worked as a welder.  He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was the husband of Kelly  (Denton) Bristow. On July 12, 1990, they were married at Holbrook, Arizona.

Tommy is  survived by:
Wife: Kelly Bristow, of the home.
Sons: Travis Bristow, of Spokane, Washington; Condly Bristow, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Kyle Bristow, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Brothers/Sisters-In-Law:   Jimmy & Linda Bristow, of Amarillo, Texas; Kevin & Paula Bristow, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Carl Black, of Dallas, Texas.
He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.

Service at The Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018  with Rev. Mark Tullier officiating.  Interment to follow at the Damon Valley Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Charlie (Choo-Choo) Rice, age 86, of Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at McAlester, Oklahoma.

Charlie was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on October 22, 1931, a son of the late Anna (Ruseckis) and George  Rice.

He worked as a general laborer for Latimer County.  He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Charlie is  survived by:
Sons:  Darryl Rice & Roger Rice, both of El Reno, Oklahoma.
Sister:  Francis Kelley, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Niece:  Eva Coleman, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
6 Grandchildren.
Second Family:  Greg & Betty Hardaway, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, 2 children, 5 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, George & Willy, 2 sons Charles & Robert, Wife Edith.

Dr. Grover F. Reynolds, age 87, of Red Oak, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017.

Dr. Reynolds was born in Bokchito, Oklahoma on January 11, 1930, a son of the late Fannie (Horn) and Fred  Reynolds.

Dr. Reynolds worked as a chiropractor.  He attended Beth-el Baptist Church, in Red Oak, Oklahoma.  He was a deacon of the Beth-el Baptist Church.   

Dr. Reynolds served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.  He was the widower of Lillie Mae (Smith) Reynolds.

Dr. Reynolds is survived by:
Sister:  Marietta Allan, of Colbert, Oklahoma.
Brother/Sister-In-Law:   George & Ruthie Reynolds, of Bennington, Oklahoma.
Special Friend:  Lonnie Taylor, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.  
Sister-In-Law:  Leona Reynolds, of Bennington, Oklahoma.  
He is also survived by three nieces and 1 nephew.

Dr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and his wife Lillie Mae.

Thasha Marie Prindle, age 21, of Wilburton, OK, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017.

Thasha was born in Kingston, New York on January 25, 1996.

Thasha graduated from Wilburton High School in 2015.  She worked as a manager at McDonald's, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Thasha is survived by:
Husband:  Alex Crossley, of the home.
Son:  Nickolas Crossley, of the home.
Brothers-In-Law:  Cody Kilgore and Jordan Powell, both of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Anthony was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on July 23, 1958, a son of Rilla (Lyons) Wilcox and the late John Gooch.

Anthony worked in maintenance at Franklin Electric, in Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Special Friend:  Carla French, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Wilcox, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Paul & Edith Lyons.

Rickey worked as a Nurses Aid in the health care industry.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Lois was born in Fanshawe, Oklahoma on April 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Emma (Harrington) and Carl  Brannon.

Lois was a homemaker.  She attended the Church of Latter Days Saints, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma.

Sarah Odell Weston

In Memory of  Sarah Odell Weston

Sarah Odell Weston, age 91, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Tidwell Nursing Home.

She was born in Dugginsville, Missouri on March 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Dellar (Evans) and Joe  Long.  She taught school at the age of 18 in a one room school house.  During World War II, she worked at Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she riveted doors on bombers.  She held various jobs throughout her life, being an employee with the local tag agency as well as a teller at Latimer State Bank.  She married Archie Herbert Weston October 4, 1948 and together they raised four children.

Odell loved flowers and working in her yard.  She was a passionate quilter and produced some amazingly beautiful quilts.  She was a member of the Wilburton Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed her friends at the Wilburton Senior Center.

She is  survived by:
Sister/Brother-In-Law:  Faye & Don Crozier, of Nevada, Missouri.
Daughter:  Daphane Burnett, of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Sons/Daughters-In-Law:  Dennis & Milena Weston, of Salina, Oklahoma; Danny & Stephanie Weston, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Herb & Jeannetta Weston, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Darren Weston, Patrick Weston, Ty Weston, Danyale Stacey, Ashley Hepworth, Matthew Weston, Tanya Weston, Derrick Younger, Kevin Younger, Bill Burnett and Stephanie Burnett Pinkerton.  
She also has 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joe Bill Long, Walker Long and Dink Long as well as two sisters, Ozell Long and Raye Woodward.

Memorial Service at The Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017  with Rev. Richard Matthews officiating.

Charles A. White, age 78, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 1, at his home.

Charles was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 16, 1939, a son of the late Dorothea Cally (Boyd) and Floyd  White.

Charles serve in the US Navy where he worked with the air craft.

He was the husband of Joyce  White.

Charles is  survived by:

He is also survived by Granddaughter: Caitlin Busby, of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
