Patricia (Pat) A. Bloxham, age 68, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Latimer County General Hospital, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Pat was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on April 12, 1949, a daughter of the late Lorene (Herrington) and Floyd  Hudlow.

Pat worked as a Medical Aid at the Latimer County Nursing Home, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma.

She was the wife of Frank  Bloxham. On June 17, 1967, they were married at LeFlore, Oklahoma. 

Pat is survived by:
Husband: Frank Bloxham, of the home.
Son:  Frankie Bloxham, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:   Theresa & Michael Brooks, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Lisa & Rickey Grant, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Kim Bloxham and  Josh Poche, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Brothers/Sister-In-Law:   Jerry Hudlow, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma; Jim & Carolyn Hudlow, of Poteau, Oklahoma; JR Hudlow, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Sisters/Brothers-In-Law:   Karen Hudlow, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Norma & Bill Dutton, of Pacola, Oklahoma; Sissey & Randy Newby, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma. 
She is also survived by Grandchildren: Destiny Bloxham, Oliver Bloxham, Olivia Bloxham, Austin Bloxham, Makayla Poche, Logan Poche, Megan & Cody Barnes, River Brooks, Amber Bloxham, Hunter Bloxham.  Great Grandchildren:  Journey Barnes and Wynter Barnes.
 
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.

Service at Beth-el Baptist Church, Red Oak, Oklahoma, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017  with Rev. Bob Cherry officiating.  Interment to follow at the North Rock Creek Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Jerry Wayne (Cotton) Cantrell, age 65, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his residence in Wilburton. 

Cotton was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on August 13, 1952, a son of the late Grace (Nash) and Roy Lee Cantrell.

He worked in the oil field.  He served in the U.S. Army. 

Cotton was the husband of Deborah Cantrell. On November 12, 1979, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Jerry is  survived by:
Wife: Deborah Cantrell, of the home.
Son:  Jerry Wayne Cantrell, Jr., of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Daughters:   Elizabeth Cantrell and Rebecca Cantrell, both of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Brothers:   George Cantrell and Howard Cantrell, both of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Paul Cantrell, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma.
Sisters/Brothers-In-Law:  Dorothy Shutler, of Stigler, Oklahoma; Gail & Loyd Lawson, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Suzie & Michael Thomason, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; JoAnn Cantrell, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Judy Fletcher, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; Donna Cantrell, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Cotton was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Clifford Cantrell, Jim Cantrell, Delbert Cantrell and Roy Cantrell; 2 sisters, Nelda Cantrell & Doris Cantrell; and mother-in-law Margaret Free.  

Service at The Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017  with Rev. Willard Francis officiating.  Interment to follow at the Fanshawe Cemetery, Fanshawe, Oklahoma.

Willa Joyce Funderburg, age 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home. 

Willa was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on March 7, 1937, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Pearl (Sefton) and Roy  Suppes.

She was a  homemaker.  She was a member of Village United Methodist Church, of  Oklahoma City, since 1965 (52 years). 

She was the wife of Stanley Funderburg. On May 31, 1956, they were married in Okemah, Oklahoma. 

Willa is  survived by:
Husband: Stanley Funderburg, of the home. 
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:   Dena Lee &  Richard (Rick) Milton Kaser III, of Baltimore, MA, Pamela Sue & Jim Dean, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Sister/Brother-In-Law:   Kay & Leonard Carroll, of Greenville, South Carolina. 
Brother/Sister-In-Law:   Eugene & Joyce Marie Suppes, of Nebo, North Carolina. 
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Anita "Nadine" Walker

In Memory Of Anita “Nadine” Walker

Anita Nadine Walker, age 84, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Mitchell Manor Convalescent Home, in McAlester, Oklahoma. 

Nadine was born in Throckmorton, Texas on September 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Ethel Faye (Messenger) and Troy J. Lohden.

She was a homemaker, historian, crafter, cook and gardener.  
Nadine was a member of Wilburton Church of Christ, Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

She married J. D. Walker on January 5, 1948 at Lane, Oklahoma. They were married for 62 years.

Anita is survived by:
Sons/Daughters-In-Law:  Jimmy & Lorene Walker, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Leland & Sally Walker, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:  Juanita & George Sherrell, of McAlester, Oklahoma; LaDonna & James Barber, of Haworth, Oklahoma.
Sisters: Cleta Pierce and Linda Howell, both of Graham, Texas. 
Sister-In-Law:  Betty Donaldson, of Springfield, Illinois.  
Nadine is also survived by grandchildren:  Pamela & Neal Johnston, Jimmy Don Walker II, James Trenton & Gretchen Sherrell, Julia & Bryan Woods, Justin Wilcox, Troy & Jennifer Walker,  Becky & Brandon Chandler, Jake & Sarah Walker, Danel Walker, Ronnie & Lisa Wilcox.  
19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Jim Bob Lohden and parents.

Services will be held at the Wilburton Church of Christ at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 with Mr. James Bailey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wilburton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Juanita Johnson

In Memory Of Juanita  Johnson

Juanita Johnson, age 95, formerly of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Integris Baptist Hospital, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Juanita was born in Bethel, Oklahoma on May 11, 1922, a daughter of the late Ethel (Daniel) and John Emmit Green.

Juanita grew up at Smithville where she graduated.  Went to Murray State College and Southeastern State University where she received her Masters of Education.  She earned her Master of Library Science from The University of Oklahoma.  Juanita was a lifelong teacher and educator.  She ended her working career at Eastern Oklahoma State College as the Librarian after many years of service.  She loved reading and also loved traveling.  Her travels took her all over the world.  Faith, family, and education were the most important things to her.

Juanita was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Juanita is survived by:
Son/Daughter-In-Law:  John & Kay Johnson, of Yukon, Oklahoma. 
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:   Debbie & Dwayne Williams, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; LaDonna &  Darryl Davis, of Fort Worth, Texas. 
She is also survived by Grandchildren: LeaAnne Dickson, Stephanie Lovell, Josh Price and wife, Elizabeth, Julie Ballman, Jessica Rice, Dillon Price and wife, Roxy, Chelsea Vieregge and husband, Justin.  11 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

John was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 24, 1942, a son of the late Helen (Brewer) and Audra  Jones.

John worked as a mechanic.  He was of the Baptist faith.  

John served in the U.S. Army. 

John is the husband of Vickie (Martin) Jones.   On May 2, 1962, they were married in California. 

John is  survived by:
Wife:  Vickie Jones, of the home.
Sons/Daughters-In--Law:  Johnny & Maryetta Jones, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Glen & Banbessa Jones, of McAlester, Oklahoma.

He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.  A host of many friends.

Wennon was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on August 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Mary (Lovejoy) and Claude  Bales.  Wennon was a  homemaker.  She was of the Baptist faith.  

Wennon was the widow of Jack  Price. On November 9, 1948, they were married at Talihina, Oklahoma.

Wanda Jewel Muse, age 94, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Latimer Nursing Home, of Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Wanda was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on July 5, 1923, a daughter of the late Myrtle (McCaslin) and Hugh  Laughlin.

Wanda was a  homemaker.  She was a member of the First United Free Will Baptist Church, of  Red Oak, Oklahoma.

She was the widow of George W. Muse. In 1945, they were married at Arkansas. 

Wanda is  survived by: 
Daughter:   Jackie Skidmore, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Cleta Wood and sons-in-law,Gary Skidmore and Everett Wood.
