Paula June Aaron, age 69, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her residence in Wilburton.

Paula was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on January 11, 1948, a daughter of the late Billie (Revis) and Francis  Montgomery.

She worked as a  cook at Wilburton High School.

She was the wife of Joe Bill Aaron. On August 16, 1976, they were married at Poteau, Oklahoma. 

Paula is  survived by:
Husband:  Joe Bill Aaron, of the home. 
Daughter:   Tamara Brassfield, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. 
Sons/Daughters-In-Law:  Keith & Donna Montgomery, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Brian & Jackie Montgomery, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Ronald & Mary Aaron, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Tommy Bias, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Sisters/Brothers-In-Law:  Shirley & Richard Bowen, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Gloria & Charley Richie, of Hodgen, Oklahoma; Judie & J. C. Hilburn, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Susanne & Brian Free, of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Larry Montgomery and Robert Montgomery; 1 sister, Tincy Larive; son, Joe Wayne Aaron.

Service at Wilburton High School Auditorium, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017  with Rev. Johnny Montgomery and Rev. Daniel Taylor officiating.  Interment to follow at the Centerpoint Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilburton Public School Cafeteria, 1201 W Blair,  Wilburton, Ok 74578.

Ruby Ann Wilcox, age 94, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Wagoner Hospital, Wagoner, Oklahoma. 

Ruby was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on October 24, 1922, a daughter of the late Pearl (Campbell) and David  Woodard.

Ruby was a  homemaker.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was the widow of Eugene Orville Wilcox. On October 1944, they were married at Leesville, LA. 

Ruby is  survived by: 
Daughters:  Rosemary Smith, of Porter, Oklahoma; Frances Melton, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
Son: Charles Wilcox, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Wanema Sue Gniech,  age 74, of Panama, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Sparks Regional Medical Center, Ft. Smith, Arkansas. 

Wanema was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on December 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Velma Cletis Collins-Brewer and Wallace Earl Wise.

Wanema worked as a home health aid.  She was the widow of Curtis Franklin Gniech. On June 26, 1981, they were married at Carson City, Nevada. 

Wanema is  survived by: 
Daughter/Son-In-Law:  Kimmie  Harrington-McCoy & husband Eldridge, of Hayfork, California.
Son/Daughter-In-Law:  ,Donnie & Lori Lovell, of Darnell, Arkansas. 
Sister:  Brenda & Anthony Salinas, of Shady Point, Oklahoma.
Brother/Sister-In-Law:  Leeman & Nancy Wise, of Glendale, Oregon.

William (Bill) Thomas Emmert, age 85, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the  Mercy Hospital, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. 

Bill was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on February 25, 1932, a son of the late Bercy (Hardy) and Eugene  Emmert.

He worked as a rancher.  Bill was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Wilburton. 

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force. 

He was the husband of Juanita  (Thornton) Emmert. On June 8, 1956, they were married at Talihina, Oklahoma. 

Bill is survived by:
Wife: Juanita Emmert, of the home. 
Daughter/Son-In-Law:  Nancy & Brian Battles, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Mary was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on July 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Mary Frances (Anderson) and Hance  Phillips.

Mary was a  homemaker.  She was of the Baptist faith.  

She was the wife of Gary  Looper, Sr.,  they were married on November 24, 1965.

Jim E. Thornton, age 78, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Latimer County Hospital, Wilburton, Oklahoma . 

Jim was born in Pottsboro, Texas on February 19, 1939, a son of the late Fannie (Looney) and Roscoe  Thornton.

Jim was a self employed appliance repairman.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma where he served as a deacon & Sunday School Director for many years. 

Jim served in the U.S. Navy. 

Jim was the husband of Toni  (Garrison) Thornton. On May 17, 1960, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Jim is  survived by:
Wife: Toni Thornton, of the home.
Son:  Stephen Thornton, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

William Charles Howard, age 50, of McKinney, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his residence in McKinney.

William was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 9, 1967, a son of the late Lorene Kay (Abbott) and William Leroy Howard.

He worked as a system engineer.  William served in the U.S. Army as a Captain. 

William was the husband of Kassandra  (Wilcox) Howard. On May 2, 1987, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma.   William was of the Baptist faith.

William is  survived by:
Wife: Kassandra Howard, of the home. 
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:  Kayla'Sue & Ilan Cisneros, of McKinney, Texas; Sarah & Karhl Wayman, of McKinney, Texas.

Marian Winlock, age 65, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at her residence in Hartshorne.

Marian was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on July 22, 1951, a daughter of the late Lorene (Harris) and Ellis Ramsey.

Marian worked as a nurses aid.

She was a lifetime member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.  She liked going to gospel singings, fishing, yard sales, and family gatherings.  She enjoyed playing domino's and traveling. 

Marian is survived by: 
Sister/Brother-In-Law:  Nora & Wayne Scott, Sr.
Nieces:  Sonya Christie and husband Gaylon, Sherry Picone and husband Vence, Kimberly Scott, Ashley Miller, Roxie Whilelance, Jaxie Willis, Jolene Willis, Michelle Ramsey.
