In Memory of Dawayne Deela

Dawayne Edward Deela was born to Reuben and Cynthia Deela on June 20, 1972 in Clinton Oklahoma. He passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at Mcalester Regional Health Center at the age of 52.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Waldrop Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Waldrop officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Powell and Stephen Wilham.

Dawayne is survived by his mother, Cyndi Deela; daughter Amber and husband Korey Page; granddaughter RaeLynn Page; nieces, Courtney Deathrage and Aja Deela; great niece, Bonnie Ragland; closest friend Travis Powell; his fur-son, Amos; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rueben Deela; sister, Jamie Deela; uncles, Henry, Ralph, Charlie, Glenn, John, and Philip; aunts, Debbie and Ginger; as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Dawayne is a graduate of Panola High School. He worked as a welder in the oilfield. He loved hunting, fishing, hanging out with Travis and Amos, and playing practical jokes on everyone. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
