Valerie Smallwood, formerly of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, at the age of 63.

Valerie was born on July 23, 1963, in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to Horace and Mary Alice (Raleigh) Smallwood.

She is survived by her aunt, Virginia Love of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and her cousins, Larry Love, Mark Love, and Ricky Love, all of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mary Alice Smallwood, and her brother, Wayne Smallwood.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Waldrop Funeral

A graveside service will be held at Red Oak Cemetery on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Johnny Montgomery.
