In Memory of Raymond Eugene Goad

Raymond Eugene Goad, 79, of Wilburton, Oklahoma passed away at his home on May 5, 2025.

Raymond was born on September 17, 1945 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Eugene and Beulah (Northrup) Goad. He graduated from Fairfax High School with the Red Devil class of 1963. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy and was stationed in San Diego, California. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also known to be an avid hunter and skilled fisherman. Later in life, he continued his education and became a nurse.

Raymond is survived by his children, Jena Howell of Brownsville, TN, Jana Webster and husband Jason of Poteau, OK, Raymond Goad JR of Hominy, OK, James Dallas (JD) Goad and wife Amy of Stillwater, OK, Samantha Muncy and husband Tyler of Port Hueneme, CA, Anna Goad of Plano, TX, and Eddy Keeling of McAlester, OK.

As a grandfather, he leaves behind Lacey Gaylord Baggett and husband Anthony of Brownsville, TN, Scott Ashley of Brownsville, TN, Lindsey Adams and husband Matthew of Panama, OK, Hailey Goad of Okmulgee, OK, Sarah Ashley of Nashville, TN, Kelsey Goad of Wilburton, OK, Layne Keller of Poteau, OK, Cameron Goad of Springdale, AR, Sam Goad of Pawnee, OK, Lauren Sutton and husband James of Heavener, OK, Brent Howell of Brownsville, TN, Tyler Howell of Brownsville, TN, Ryan Muncy of Port Hueneme, CA, Grayson Goad of Plano, TX, and Brendan Goad of Omaha, AR. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and his sister, Barbara Franklin of Quinton, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Beulah Goad; his wife, Donnella Goad; and his brother, Ronnie Goad.
